PERSONAL & MINISTRY HISTORY
Walter
& Charlene, at the Lord's command, started Pure-N-Heart Music Ministry, before they were married in October of 1997.
In August of 1998, Heaven smiled, and these two dynamic servants "tied the eternal-knot, and are happily married."
Both Walter & Charlene were raised in Christian homes, and as children traveled with their parents evangelistically throughout
the United States.
Charlene has an awesome healing anointing on her life, and is the prettiest and loveliest
of this dynamic duo. She was a minister of music for more than 17 years, and also faithfully served in a military evangelistic
outreach for over twenty years. She has ministered to thousand of soldiers with her "angelic voice", and has
faced the fire of sickness and brokenness, but has grown stronger and closer to the Master as a result. Charlene has
participated in regional and national conferences, to include their participation in the award-winning, Potter's House
Mass Choir and praise team, under the pastoral leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes, where also she worked for the Christian school.
After many years in the private sector, Charlene dedicated herself to the ministry's national consulting opportunities,
and to the administrative work of the ministry. Her sweet spirit and her anointed life are a testament to the grace
of God prevailing in the midst of life's toughest struggles. Both, Walter & Charlene write and produce music,
with over 300 songs in their portfolio, with plans to release their debut CD through Global Legacy Entertainment, Inc.'s
- Master Pitch Records. They are founders of the group Rekonciled, and plan to release their debut
album "Taking the World By Storm" very soon.
Walter is a pastor-teacher at heart, and is the energetic
and powerful voice of this dynamic duo, who has loved the ministry since he could walk. Though his early adolescence
and teenage years were rocky, due to a parental divorce and childhood trauma, God safely took a hold of his life, as he accepted
his call to ministry, while still in the military and college. His passion for thoroughly equipping and empowering people
got him involved with the White House Office of Faith and Community Based Initiatives, while managing federal and state grants
over the past few years. Formerly, Walter was the Regional Director, for the Associated Black Charities, Inc - Eastern
Shore Office, headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to their assignment in Maryland, Walter acted as the Director
of Operations & Project Manager for the Metroplex Economic Development Corporation - a subsidiary of The Potter's
House of Dallas, Inc, under the esteemed leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Walter is an anointed psalmist
and prophetic instrument of the Lord. From his earliest experience as an adolescent youth counselor, to his numerous
speaking and consultative experiences, God has truly deposited a storehouse inside of this servant of the Lord. Walter
& Charlene have consulted churches conducting work in Liberia, Ethiopia and other parts of Africa, and he's participated
on numerous nonprofit and state boards. He's also led worship for major ministry conferences, and acted in many
ministerial capacities, to include overseeing hundreds of intercessors with the pastoral staff at the Potter's House.
Walter possesses an uncanny administrative and organizational development anointing. His ability to take a concept and
turn it in to a growing and active vision is uncanny.
In April of 2007, he resigned as the Chief Operating
Officer for Clarence E. McClendon Ministries, and the Chief Administrative Officer for Full Harvest International Church.
Currently, he is the Director of Campaign Administration at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, as he
continues to build the organizational infrastructure for both Global Legacy Entertainment, Inc. and Pure In Heart Int'l
Ministries, Inc; while remaining an affiliate consultant with the Center for Nonprofit Management in Los Angeles.
