This page is dedicated to our spiritual parents, who are not only
as sweet as pie, but through the unwavering support they've shown while standing with Charlene and I during our unique
spiritual development, various ministry assignments, challenging financial difficulties, and heart-wrenching battles with
sickness!
I'd say that this kind of spiritual leadership is more than enough to qualify them to receive our
life-long loyalty and unending love, and we sincerely appreciate their wisdom, their humility and their soundness!
Growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ is the most important aspect of a disciple's life.
With the love and heart-felt instruction that we have received through the years, we value this mighty man and woman of God
for who they are in God's Kingdom and in our lives! No burden or unexpected storm has ever gone unnoticed by their
age-old wisdom and keen discernment, but they've let us grow and let us cry without judgment!
The universal
church desperately needs generals at their level to impart to this generation, and I believe Pop & Mom's greatest
days for impartation and instruction to developing leaders has just begun; although their commitment and walk with Christ
spans over forty years for each of them.

Pastor Edward N. Smith "Pop" has been the Senior
Pastor of Trinity Christian Church of San Marcos, and the Staff Pastor of the largest television network in the world, the
Trinity Broadcasting Network, under the esteemed leadership of co-founders, Dr. Paul & Jan Crouch - since 1974.
After sharing fifty-four rewarding years of marriage with Lady Ella Smith, in 2002, he regretfully released "Mom
Ella" back to the Father with their four beloved children - Edward, Gina, Reggie & Oleta.
For almost seventeen years, Pastor Ed taught the world through his daily television program, which aired twice
a day on TBN. Through the years, as he has shared God's word with the masses through his
desire for sincerity, simplicity, biblical integrity and doctrinal soundness - God has used this mighty servant to edify God's
people.
For over forty-eight years of public ministry, Pastor Ed has traveled the world and ministered to millions,
yet he has maintained the heart of our beloved Savior to leave the ninety-nine to reach one for Christ!
Besides
keeping Walter straight, and loving on his adorable daughter, Charlene, Pastor Ed continues to teach every week both to TBN
staff and to his congregation - helping to build the character of God's people, and prepare them to live productive Christ-centered
lives for the Kingdom of God.
