When everything in you longs for something more, that is a place of "desperation"!  In your present reality, it is the only remedy in your mind - and the "thing" you've earnestly locked onto in the deepest place of your heart.

What really makes it wrong for us to satisfy our deepest longings and yield to the desires of the moment?  Doesn't God want us to be happy and fulfilled?

As I interact with Christians and members of the Body of Christ, I see so many people dissatisfied with their lives and yearning for more, at the expense of possessing inward sufficiency in Christ. 

You might ask, "Can't we have both?"  Yes, but not our way - and not with sorrow, if we get things God's way!

Do you actually believe that God is such a dud and kill-joy that He would want you to have a life as dry as the middle-eastern desert, with no personal happiness and fulfillment?

Well - I use to feel that way until the Lord got my attention!

I'm sure you're wondering "how", and I would be glad to tell you...Brokenness!

"Brokenness" is the answer to the consuming questions of the heart that releases us from wavering, wandering and staggering at the promises of God!  Sometimes, God's only remedy for getting our attention is on our face - seeking His ways, in a place of abandonment to "know" His will above all else!

The enemy has tried to convince us all of God's lack of concern about those deep heart longings and unspoken requests.  But God is waiting for us to yield ourselves in brokenness completely to Him, so that we fulfill His purpose and impact others for His glory!

How do you know when you're really broken?  When you're upset...sick and tired...or deeply wounded? 

No!  When your first recourse and only desire is to honor God with your life above anything else; even if you don't get "what you want"!

Come, go with us to a deeper place in BROKENNESS before the Father...
