"Culture's Influence"
Whether you realize it or not, "the culture" you both celebrate and gravitate
toward, is influencing your life to virtuous ends or visive ends - But, NOT to both!
The frequent process that many navigate in their innocent pursuit for fulfillment, ends-up a
devastating reality, if the choices and decisions we all make actually aligns us with destructive ends, and NOT destinations
of fulfillment or purpose that is connected to true success and blessing, without any related sorrow and despair!
Well, you might say - I'm "living for God right now, and all hell is breaking out in my life."
Consider this - either your genuine pursuit for God's kingdom, which represents you passionately pursuing
His will and His way as your focus; or your soulish vasicllations from consistently seeking God and following the world's
wicked influences - is creating a life of disappointment, aggravation and unrest in your life.
THE PROCESS
First, we are captivated by some prevailing influence - whether its a person, material
possession, or a coveted position. As we surrender ourselves to these ideas and suggestions of our
desired pursuit, we then find ourselves constantly compromising our values or changing our direction - based
upon exposure to a more exciting reality! The danger here is, "the feel good syndrome" resigns
every bit of wisdom from past experience, to a gamble for fulfillment in this new adventure, but never truly counts the cost!
Secondly, we find ourselves wandering down a path of confusion and eventual carelessness, when conformed
to this system of thought - we're led astray by a way of living that is contrary to God's word; and the deepest
convictions of our sanctified soul and spirit that lines up with God's perfect will for your life is forfeited!
Testing a "thing" without tracing its origin - is like trusting a source without determining
its credibility or capacity; to properly inform or direct our lives to God's best for us!
Finally, we eventually become dominated
by what we are brought under the "power of"; by ignorantly resisting God's wisdom, turning away from the wise
counsel we once respected, and by isolating ourselves from the ones we love - for some fantasy or delusion that is really
about our self-seeking pleasure to be consumed on our own lust! All of the associated regrets, shame
and decline in our spiritual intimacy with God that we experience at this point - either leads us to a broken
place of God's mercy, which awakens us from our delusional sleep, or leads us to destruction;
where the enemy intended our lives to be when we first took his bait", as our interest was peaked by something
new and different".
Today - surrender your life to Christ in EVERY AREA, and watch the Kingdom
Culture influence and radically transform your life; so that you can fully experience and achieve God's best with
no fears or doubts about your choice to follow Him with your whole heart!
I can
hear some of you saying - "Why would I want to be captivated, conformed and dominated by Kingdom
Culture then?"
Because the abundant life you experience now, will
bring fulfillment, peace and contentment that is possible NO WHERE
ELSE in our human existence on earth!
"How do I know this?"
Because, by NOW - YOU or I would have figured it out since we're SO SMART!"

"Genuine Faith - Based Upon God's Word!"
Family: There is a growing need for God's people to know and understand the difference between
"human faith" and "divine faith".
It's becoming so important, because there is a blur between
the sensory realm and the spiritual realm with all the numerous voices and philosophies, and the enemy is using our proclivity
towards "feelings-based decisions and religious commitments" - on deciding how we feel about a particular circumstance
- instead of basing our actions and reactions on God's word alone!
Divine Faith is the basis
for all of the laws and principles of the spiritual dimension, which is founded upon God's word - and develops out of
ongoing intimacy and communion through the Holy Spirit that is not limited or restricted by space, time or matter.
Human Faith is the basis of all natural occurences and consequences of the physical world, which is founded
upon the sensory realm and human thought - and develops out of every day experience, difficulties, environmental influences
or forces, and the volition of man to choose whatever he or she desires.
The absolute quandry for most believers
is the mixture of emotionalism and idolatry (a deceitful and wicked heart) justifies our scatter-brained decisions based upon
our own comfort and convenience, instead of on God's word and will concerning us!
It's
gotten so clouded in our hearts and minds that we believe we need to "feel something" when we pray in order to receive
"it" from God! The problem with this is the penecostal expression that many of us celebrate - is completely
based upon human personality, frustration, intimidation, and unyielded areas of our lives! Instead of confronting these
areas and issues, we cover it up with dancing, shouting and emotional outbursts, without repenting, renewing our minds according
to God's word, and taking responsibility for what we do!
Today - check your own heart! Measure yourself
against the word of God, and ask yourself whether you be of the faith or not!
The decision you make will determine
your future, and IF you will ever see the promises of God fully manifest in your life! Ask the Lord to help you develop
"genuine faith" that's based upon God's word ONLY!
